Dearest Mark…. Thank you for the fond memories of old times spent together in our youth and in our later years. We had some good times with family and running into each other as we went through life. I am so sad now but every time I think of you it makes me smile inside. You will always be with me cousin. I will miss you. The lives of the people you touched will miss you. Thoughts and prayers to the family.

  17. To Lindsay, Mike and the kids and to Pam #1 who I always called her when she came to the shop for work needed done. My deepest condolences to your loss. Mark was always so cool to me when coming to the shop in those early years I opened up. He would always give me a hard time of course and would always change the radio station to “something better than the bullshit your listening to”. Ha ha remembering that made me smile. He will forever be in my thoughts and I hope he rests peacefully and is surrounded by those whom he had missed over the years and he will always be with you all even when you don’t think he is. And if the radio station changes in my shop at home I’ll remember it’s him because I should be “listening to way better music than the bullshit I had playing”. Thanks for being you Mark and for always keeping me on my toes asking me if I was feeding you bullshit or if what was really wrong with your truck was what I was telling you was wrong. You’d always laugh but give me that look and say “remember Lindsay said to come here so don’t make a fool out of her ok. I just want this POS fixed so I can go hunting next weekend. Don’t disappoint me and everything will be just fine. No pressure. And if I come back and that crap is back on I’m throwing your radio out into the street and hopefully running it over with this pos truck that your supposedly going to fix and I’m not really listening to what your saying cause I don’t even know what half of it means Russ but you do a good job of making me think you know what your talking about and I’m not buying you another radio cause I’m going to come back and make sure that you know what rocking out is really like and what real rock and roll sounds like. None of this bullshit rap rock country bumpkin bs they say is great cause it’s not. It sucks. If it wasn’t performed before 1990 it sucks…you hear me and I mean that. Hey I may come off as an asshole sometimes but your taste in music sucks so you can’t blame me. Be cool buddy keep it rocking call me when this pos is ready for me ok Russ”. I’ll never forget him saying that to me in the shop in front of everyone. He was so stoic and I remember even having to calm you once asking you if your dad was very sarcastic and you said he wouldn’t give you shit if he didn’t like you and he would be a nightmare if he didn’t like you at all. So I’d like to think after changing radio station s and buying several CDs of his recommendation and to always have them playing before he came into the shop usually put him in better spirits. Said one time.”seems we have listened to somebody about music have we? Bout time cause if I heard anymore of that BS I heard the first two times I was going to turn right around and take my business elsewhere cause you didn’t listen to your customer and my advice may not be great for everyone but let’s face it Russ we know your not stupid and you have some friends also but maybe they are stupid so I’ll give you an out on that. But I think I can tolerate this music even though it’s a little on the sissy side. Ha ha “ I was like Marc you told me to get this CD and I would love it. He smiled and said “I really didn’t think you’d listen to me but you did and if you don’t want it I know somebody that loves this CD.” I said well ya sure if you think they would love it then take it it’s yours.” He said “good cause I’ve been looking for this everywhere and I’m so glad you found it.” That man had me rolling laughing so hard so I gladly let him have the CD. I will miss you Marc. Peace to you sir. Rock out with all them stars ok.

  33. Marky-Mark, I know you are no longer suffering and are in the peaceful presence of our Savior, Jesus Christ. Thank you for being my friend. You were one of the first people I met in my early recovery. In fact, you showed me how to make the coffee! You have helped so many people over the years and it was always a pleasure to hear your insight and wisdom. I love you, Mark. Rest in peace, my friend. And I will see ya when I see ya!!

  35. I just found out that Mark is no longer here. He was such an incredible friend! He sure did love life. He loved to go turkey hunting. Looking for mushrooms. And, of course, trout fishing!!! He liked to play Gin Rummy…could always beat me! We also played Farkle. A dice game. We had fun. And we always talked about our family and loved ones. I sure hope that Chessa is okay. Mark loved her so much.
