Norwin Francis Heimos, born on September 15, 1955, entered eternal rest with his Savior Jesus Christ on July 24, 2023.  Preceded in death by his parents, Norwin and Shirley Heimos.  Loving father to Kimberly Klepac (Ryan) and Nicholas Heimos (Heather).  Loving grandfather to Aiden, Sutton, Hudson, Jason and Jackson.  Loyal brother to Mary Jo LaBarge (Mark), Patty Weinwurm (Paul), Micky Byland (Bill), Annie Stanley (Bill), George (Laurie), Bernard (Rosella), John (Tracy) and Amy Morris (Craig).  Dear uncle and great uncle to many.

Norwin was a graduate of the Missouri Military Academy and worked in many different settings, most recently owning and operating 1-800 Radiator where he spent many years working alongside his son, Nick.  Norwin never knew a stranger and found a familiar face everywhere he went.  In 2021, he was blessed with the gift of life through liver transplant and spent the last 2 years living his life to the fullest, traveling, spending time with family and friends and riding his motorcycle.

  1. Sending prayers for the Heimos family, his children, and grandchildren. May they be comforted by God’s grace and the fond memories they shared with him. I’ll always remember how serious he took his role as Godfather to me. He will be missed.
