Jones, Stephan Wayne passed away on Tues., July 7, 2020 at the age of 75. He was born June 21,1945 in Evansville IN to the late Noah C. and Dolores Jones. He served his country during the Vietnam war in the US Army, 4th Division, 21st Infantry. My father was a good son, brother, brother-in- law, uncle, father and friend. He loved his STL Cardinals, horses racing and home cooked meals. He is survived by his daughter, Jessica (Deric) Fulbright and stepdaughter Angela Green, 3 grandchildren and one great grandchild. His sharp wit and sense of humor will be missed by all who knew him.
Private services will be held at Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery.
Love your crooked smile and your dry sense of humor. You didn’t talk much but you were, without a doubt, taking it all in. You taught me how to bet on football games. Funny thing is…..you always won the bet! I have such good memories of us working at Cornbread’s Café and living at the “beach house” at Corns Lake. Your legacy is your beautiful daughter who is a wonderful, kind and caring woman. You can be proud!! Rest in peace Steve. I really hope there is horse racing in heaven! You will be missed.
