Fortified with the Sacraments of Holy Mother Church Friday, August 12, 2022.  Beloved husband of Geraldine “Gerri” Kohler (nee: Diel) for 64 years.  Dearest father of Kathleen (Steven) Schwartz, Teresa (Mark) Davis, Leonard Kohler, Jr., Caroline (Gareth) Harris, Valerie (Dennis) Jurkowski and Ann Marie (Paul) Van Meter; beloved grandpa of Patricia Pearson, Matthew Temares, Luke Temares, Zachary Davis, Kyle Kohler, Gary Baumann, Nicholas Baumann, Samantha Whitten, Lindsey Whitten, Rachael Cali and Vivien Van Meter; beloved great grandpa of Grace Richardson, Charisma Holt, Elijah Holt, Addalyn Temares, Teagan Temores, Bridger Baumann, Lily Cali and Harrison Cali; beloved great great grandpa of Ezran Richardson; dear brother, brother-in-law, uncle, cousin and friend.

He was a 4th Degree Grand Knight, District Deputy and longtime member of Knights of Columbus Council #2333, member of Immaculate Conception Men’s Club and member of Veteran’s group at Bethesda Gardens.

Services: Funeral from Kutis South County Chapel 5255 Lemay Ferry Road Friday, August 19, 9:30am to Immaculate Conception Church 10 am Mass.  Interment Immaculate Conception Cemetery.  Memorial contributions to Cystic Fibrosis Foundation or American Cancer Society, appreciated.  Visitation Thursday 5-8pm.
