Miller, Peggy Maurine

Miller, Peggy Maurine (nee Stone) joined her Lord and Savior on Mon. April 20, 2020. She passed away at her home in Imperial surrounded by loving family.

She will be dearly missed by her husband of 70 years, General (Jim) Miller, her 6 children; Kevin (Kathy) Miller of High Ridge, MO, Jeff (Mary) Miller of Dickinson, TX, Jerry (Lynn) Miller of Branson, MO, John Miller of St. Louis, MO, Joe (Pat) Miller of Imperial, MO, Janie (Joe) McBride of Ellabelle, GA., 15 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren, her brothers Larry (Adrienne) Stone of St. Louis, MO. and Joe (Mary) Stone of St. Louis, MO.

Peggy was born in Marble Hill, MO on April 6, 1933. In addition to raising her family, she earned her LPN degree and worked for many years in a local doctor’s office. She was known by all who met her for her sweet disposition and love of animals.

Visitation will be held at KUTIS FUNERAL HOME, 5255 Lemay Ferry Rd., on Friday, April 24, from 8:30 a.m. until 10 a.m. Interment at Shepherd Hills Cemetery in Barnhart immediately following. Due to the current pandemic, visitation is limited to family only.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Open Door Animal Sanctuary in House Springs, MO.

    She is such a strong woman and had a heart like no other. She was kind, gentle and loving. We are blessed to have had her in our lives. We celebrate her life with you. We also grieve her loss.     Peggy was like another mom to the neighborhood kids. Thank you Mrs.Miller,for
    always being there to bandaid our boo boos and take out our splinters! Your love lives on in our memories.
