Torpea, Nick J. passed away on Tuesday, August 16, 2022.

Beloved husband of Suzanne Torpea of 17 years; dearest father of Nick A. (Patty) Torpea, Jaci (Allen) Hendrickson and Amanda (Mark) Spinner; dear grandpa of Luke, Abigail, Owen and Auggie; brother of Anna (the late Virgil)  Wrozier and the late Dolly Clark; our dear brother-in-law, uncle, cousin and friend of many.

Nick was a union advocate and love golfing, traveling and going to the casino.

Visitation Friday, August 19, 11:00 a.m. until Service 1:00 p.m. at KUTIS AFFTON CHAPEL, 10151 Gravois Rd. Interment Resurrection Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contribution may be made to Alzheimer’s Association or St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.

  3. Deepest condolences. I am heartbroken that exposure to COVID forces me to quarantine so that I am unable to attend Nick’s funeral. He was a unique man with a smile and a warmth that delighted everyone near him. He will be missed.

    I’m very sorry about your father’s passing. He was a force of nature ! You would always know when he walked into a room.
    I’ll keep you in mind as I think of my mom and dad’s passing. It is always with me. There are good days and tough days. Take them as they come.

  9. Nick was my best friend in grade school at St. Barts. Was thinking about him and his mom’s great soup yesterday. I loved when I ate over at their house! We had many great times as kids. So sorry for his passing. Apologies for the late remembrance; he was funny and fun to hang out with. Will always hold a place in my heart.
